Join CAP Foundation’s women’s team for the Al Noor Annual Dragon Boat Race 2025 – a powerful day of purpose, unity, and sisterhood! Held at Fairlop Waters Country Park, this exciting charity race brings together teams from across the UK to compete in high-energy dragon boat heats — all in support of vital causes.


By rowing with #TeamRed | Row4Orphans, you’ll be helping raise funds for CAP Foundation’s flagship campaign – The Guardians | Orphan Village, a long-term project providing housing, care, and education for orphaned children.


Whether you’re new to rowing or a seasoned paddler, we’ll provide the training, the team spirit, and the motivation you need to make waves and change lives. Join us, row for a cause, and represent the power of women rowing together for something bigger than ourselves.

Q: Who can take part?

A: This is a female-only team open to sisters aged 16+. No experience needed—just commitment and enthusiasm!

Q: Do I need rowing experience?

A: Not at all! Full training will be provided on the day, before the event.

Q: How many people per team?

A: Each team can have up to 17 members (including paddlers and a drummer).

Q: Is there a fundraising target?

A: Yes. Each rower will raise funds for CAP Foundation’s Orphan Village campaign.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Sportswear, spare clothes, a towel, and lots of energy!

Q: Is there an entry fee?

A: Yes – see ticket details for the registration fee and what’s included.

Q: What’s the event timing?

A: The full-day event runs from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Fairlop Waters Country Park.

Q: Where is the event located?

A: The event takes place at Fairlop Waters Country Park, Forest Road, Barkingside, Ilford, IG6 3HN. It’s easily accessible via the M25 and A12, and a short walk from Fairlop and Barkingside stations on the Central Line.  

Q: Is parking available at the venue?

A: Yes, on-site parking is available at Fairlop Waters Country Park. Parking fees are as follows: • Up to 1 hour: £1.50 • 2 hours: £2.60 • All day: £5.50  Please note that payment is via the RingGo app or phone service; cash payments are not accepted.
