About this event

Are you an EU national living in Edinburgh who has some questions about their rights?

Or maybe you are working with EU nationals and need more information on how to deal with their complex cases?

Join us on Thursday 11th September from 9:00am until 12:00pm in Fresh Start for a meeting including tea, coffee, biscuits, and a lot of information!

We will cover:

  • EU Settlement Scheme immigration rules such as switching from pre-settled to settled, late applicationa, or bringing family members
  • Issues related to the eVisa accounts, inluding generating the share code, updating ID documents on the account, and dealing with technical problems related to the eVisa
  • Welfare and financial inclusion matters specific for EU nationals, like housing support or benefits for people with pre-settled status.

Due to the capacity of the venue, we have limited number of spaces available, so we would appreciate people reserving places in advance.

Organized by

Citizens’ Rights Project provides information, advice and support for EU citizens in Scotland by connecting groups and organisations working within European communities. We are a group of third sector workers, researchers, legal experts and volunteers. You can find more about our core team here.

Our aim is to assist EU nationals in accessing information and advice on citizens’ rights, and to encourage and facilitate their contacts with public sector and government organisations. We want to inform EU nationals about opportunities available to them in Scotland, but also to promote awareness of their concerns and needs, especially those raised by the likelihood of Brexit.
