TECgirls CreaTech Climate Challenge Making Workshop - Bodmin
Event Information
About this event
Free creative tech-making workshop for children (4-14) and families!
Drop by anytime between 10:00-16:00.
Stop-Motion Animation
Design your own stage, create your story and bring it to life with technical filming and editing skills! Using clay, paper, and other props we will help you to create stop-motion animations. The animations can be filmed on the tablets provided or your own phones, using a free app. These animations will be uploaded to a dedicated section of the TECgirls YouTube Channel and will be shared with Screen Cornwall and other museum partners to help tell climate change stories. This is a great activity for playing with making as well as technical filming and editing.
Message in a Bottle
Using simple electronics you will transform old plastic bottles into artwork that are 'Calls for Action'. Your electronic sculpture will be interactive through the use of conductive tape, stick-on led lights, and small batteries. Make sure to bring along some clean, clear plastic bottles to transform into your sculptures or share with other makers!
You can find out more about facilities and access on the Bodmin Keep website.
