Janne Brok – Revealing patterns of radical change: The Vacation Logic framework

Co-founder Bureau WO, co-creator Vacation Logic, believes that everyone can learn the “how” of radical change. She developed a scientific model showing that radical change is not that complicated. According to her, it always follows the same pattern – whether for an individual or for a society. The key: imagination. Think of holidays: suddenly we live in a completely different way, and yet it feels natural.

Petra Janssen – Meaningful Design Doing instead of Thinking

Co-founder Studio Boot & Social Label, creates work and products in collaboration with communities that cannot easily participate in society. She brings these insights into practice with Social Label. Not by staying stuck in “design thinking”, but through “design doing”: creating safe havens and meaningful products for people who would otherwise be left out.
