TechCIOB Workshop

Technical Membership (TechCIOB) of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is aimed at professionals who have technical expertise in the construction industry but may not have a formal degree.

This membership grade is designed to recognize and support individuals who excel in specific technical roles.

The CIOB is running a workshop to explain the process of applying to become TechCIOB.

Please note you must have the following qualifications to become TechCIOB:

• With an HND, NVQ Level 4/5, or SCQF Level 7/8: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical role within construction.
• With an HNC, NVQ Level 3, or SVQ Level 6: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical role within construction.
