Technician - Health and safety

This course is run over x3 1 hour sessions

First session Tuesday 4th November 2025 at 1pm.

Second session Tuesday 11th November 2025 at1pm.

Third session Tuesday 18th November 2025 at 1pm.

There will be some gap tasks between sessions.

On completion you will be able to:

• understand the key areas of concern in science departments​
• identify good practice in risk assessments for technician and teacher activities​
• use good practice to audit labs, prep rooms and stores

The facilitator for this course is Jackie Merritt a senior technician for more than 20 years.
