Our Technique for Belly Dance class is designed to ignite your passion for movement, rhythm, and self-expression. Led by Nat, our belly dance instructor, this class welcomes women of all levels, from beginners to seasoned dancers, eager to explore the artistry and joy of belly dance.

Through dynamic drills, fluid movements, and captivating tabla rhythms, you'll learn the history of rhythms, and all essential techniques of shimmying for belly dance while toning your body and working with your brain to enhance your coordination.

Our goal is not to just have fun, and learn but to also help you understand how beautiful and powerful your body is as you master the art of shimmies, undulations, and isolations, unleashing your inner goddess with every graceful step.

Whether you're seeking a fun fitness routine, a cultural experience, or simply a creative outlet, our class promises to uplift your spirit and leave you feeling empowered and radiant. Join us and let your hips sway to the beat of your unique rhythm!

No prior experience is necessary! Our class caters to everyone, including those who are completely new to belly dancing. We will guide you through the basics and help you build a strong foundation in belly dance technique.

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. Many participants prefer to wear leggings or yoga pants paired with a fitted top. Feel free to accessorize with a hip scarf or coin belt to enhance the experience.

Do I need any special equipment or accessories?

The only thing you need to bring is yourself and a positive attitude! If you have a hip scarf or coin belt, feel free to bring it along, but it's not required.

What can I expect during a typical class session?

Each class session will begin with a gentle warm-up to prepare your body for movement. We'll then delve into a series of drills and exercises designed to help you master various belly dance techniques, including shimmies, isolations, and undulations.

Will I get a good workout from this class?
