Wine is always a sum of two parts - what happens in the vineyard and what happens in the winery. There's a lot of 'terroir' chat thrown around in wine - soil, microclimate, blah blah blah - but how much difference does it really make and can it be a defining factor over the winemaking itself..? Let's put it to the test!
