Event description

Description

Technology is radically changing the way we see ourselves and the way we interact with others. This is already having a profound impact on client expectations. Traditional ways of working are being challenged and augmented by rapidly developing technologies.

This is an opportunity for a ‘hands-on’ workshop to raise your skill levels in respect of the use of computer-driven therapy in all its aspects.This workshop provides the opportunity to:-

-Reflect on these changes and how they are making an impact on our clinical practice;

-Consider our relationship with technology. Can we see benefits as well as threats for our practice?

-Explore new developments in clinical practice, which may enhance our ability to help our clients

-Investigate how technology can help us engage with clients to augment our service

Areas covered will include:

-The use of video in clinical practice

-Delivering therapy online

-Managing asynchronous interactions with clients

-Monitoring Autonomic Nervous System functioning

-Applications for C.B.T.
