The Teddy Bear Hosptial is aimed at 4-7 year olds.
The children bring along their sick teddies and participate in interactive stations to cure their teddies! Our expert ‘Teddy Doctors’, who are volunteer medical students, run the stations to teach the children about topics ranging from healthy eating to surgery and X-rays. They get to dress up as paramedics, put plaster casts on their teddies and even perform teddy surgery! Each child or group of siblings will need be accompanied by an adult.
Please meet in the Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre (Zone 3) at the entrance to the Day Surgery Unit (speak to volunteers in the yellow Cambridge Science Festival T Shirts if you get lost) AT LEAST 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE TOUR IS DUE TO START - or your tickets may be given to others who are waiting.
Please only book tickets for your child(ren) - no need to book for the accompanying adult(s).
Each sessions lasts approximately 45 minutes.
