TEDx FPWomen: The first ever TEDx Women conference in the North
Event Information
Description
Limitless Boundaries
(A world where everything is possible)
TEDxFormbyPointWomen is here, being held in conjunction with the TEDx Women event in Palm Springs, California.
We are really excited to be holding this event at TATE Liverpool overlooking the Albert Docks in Liverpool, easily accessible from all transport links.
Partnering with Tatty Devine. Everyone attending the event will be entered into a prize draw to win one of the designs from Tatty Devine's range.
The time for silent acceptance of the status quo is over. Women around the world are taking matters into their own hands, showing up for each other and themselves to shape the future we all want to see.
Whatever their focus and talent -- politics, science, technology, art -- these pioneers are unapologetically breaking out and pushing boundaries. They're rising up to listen, to be heard, to see and be seen, to celebrate and empower. Women and their allies are joining forces in an explosion of discovery and ingenuity to drive real, meaningful change.
TEDWomen brings together a global community of people interested in exploring how change begins: with innovative thinkers who catalyze ideas toward action. Over the past few years, TEDWomen and TEDxWomen have launched some powerful ideas into the world.
Our event will bring together the wider community of inspiring women and changemakers, and this diverse and inspiration rich event will feature some of the best talks of your life in the North-West from science to arts to global issues to personal development, on the theme of 'boundaries'.
Come and have an awesome day full of limitless excitement, inspiration and ideas.

A little bit about how TEDxFPWomen is organised
TEDxFPWomen is a not-for-profit event and organised by a committed team of volunteers, who work all year round to plan and deliver this fantastic event. Everyone in the team has a day-job to go to, but they are all deeply passionate about what TEDxFORMBYPOINTWOMEN achieves for the community and the audience. This is the very first year, but this will be the start of a series of inspiring women's events in the North-west by our team. As part of this event, you will have information on any upcoming events and early bird tickets before they are released to the general public.
