Event Details

TEDxEuston is a TED-like event locally organised by a team of African professionals in the spirit of “ideas worth spreading”, devoted to leveraging the power of ideas to change the world.  

TEDxEuston focuses on issues important to Africa and our objectives are to:   

  • Inspire a new generation of people engaging responsibly with Africa.
  • Bring together people that are seeking innovative approaches for the continents challenges.
  • Foster an environment for embracing our passion and commitment for the continent

This year we have an exciting line of speakers, great thinkers and doers creating a new brand of leaderships for African communities. This year’s event will hold at the beautiful Mermaid Conference & Events Centre on the North Bank of the Thames.

The theme is “Challenging Conventional Wisdom

We have put together another incredible line-up of speakers from across the continent and beyond.

It aims to reflect ideas and inspired thinking of a new generation of African leaders, presenting to an audience of mainly Africans committed to engaging and re-engaging in an active and meaningful manner with the continent.
