Sat 3 December 2016, 10:00 – 16:00 GMT
Come and join us on Saturday 3rd December 2016 for the first in a new series of TEDxStoke events.
Held at the Stoke 6th Form College, our marvellous speakers, all thought leaders in their respective fields, have been carefully selected to provide an exciting day of short, powerful talks on the theme of "Facing the Future."
TEDxStoke is an independently organised TED (www.ted.com) event, licensed by the TED organisation who run the prestigious annual TED Conference in Vancouver, Canada.
Join us, be inspired by our speakers, let them change your future.
Doors open at 9.30 for registration and general mingling with speakers, organisers and fellow guests. The event starts at 10am.
Tickets are £30 per person and for this you’ll get:
- A day of live presentations from our exciting speakers (for more information, click here).
- Some of the best TED Talks on video, in between the live sessions.
- Time to chat and mingle with other guests, organisers and probably the speakers themselves.
- Complimentary Lunch
- Refreshments throughout the day

1.10 Our speaker’s talks are the main reason we’re putting on the event. We will be videoing (and maybe live streaming) the event and expect that the talks will appear on the main TED Site in due course. There is a chance that some video, not a lot, of the audience could be included and available on-line for a long long time. Your attending the event will be taken as you giving permission for your image to maybe being shown, briefly, in these videos.
