TEDxWandsworth will be held at South Thames College on Saturday 5th November 2016. There will be capacity for up to 100 attendees.
Doors open at 8.45am, event starts at 10am.
If you are buying multiple tickets please ensure you enter the correct names in your party to aid registration and to personalise the experience with correct names on the delegate badge.
The theme for TEDxWandsworth 2016 is "Perspective” and there will be a line-up of exciting speakers from in and around the Wandsworth borough. Our speakers come from a cross-section of industry, including trailblazers from medicine, architecture, technology, arts and thought leaders in child education, humanities, leadership, history, music and much more. The speakers epitomise the theme 'Perspective” as well as bring great individual stories of triumph over adversity.
Due to the popularity of the event we will limit tickets to a maximum of 2 tickets per purchase round to ensure as many people get the opportunity to attend TEDxWandsworth 2016.
A ticket to TEDxWandsworth will give you access to:
- a full day of TEDxWandsworth talks from 10am to 7pm (Doors open at 8.45am; Programme begins 10am)
- showcase of local performances
- 'decompression breaks' to interact and mingle with other TEDx-ers, Speakers and meet our Sponsors
- Immerse and play in a new and exciting VR environment created by staff and students from South Thames College
- a complimentary lunch
- refreshments throughout the day
- and as a thank you, celebratory post-event drinks at South Thames College

Terms and Conditions of Sale
1.1 Please note that all tickets purchased are non-refundable except if the event is cancelled or significantly altered by the organisers.
1.2 A change in speaker line up shall not constitute a substantial alteration. We will try our best to replace cancelled speakers with replacement speakers of equal stature although we may not be able to guarantee this.
1.3 Tickets are sold subject to TEDxWandsworth's right to make any alterations to the programme.
1.4 If the event has to be interrupted or abandoned no money will be refunded if more than half of it has taken place.
1.5 As TEDxWandsworth is being held at a college, no alcohol is to be brought onto the college's premises. No Smoking nor vaping is allowed on College grounds.
1.6 Tickets are only transferable if you notify firstname.lastname@example.org at least 72 hours prior to the event.
1.7 Latecomers will be admitted to the event at a suitable break or interval.
1.8 The use of recording equipment is strictly forbidden.
1.9 TEDxWandsworth reserves the right to refuse admission to the venue.
When & Where
TEDxWandsworth is organised by Amman Abid & Kalpana Chauhan. As residents for the past 10 years, they are thrilled to bring the power of TED Talks and its inspirational ethos of ‘ideas worth spreading’ to the borough.
TEDxWandsworth is run by a passionate team of local volunteers hoping to inspire, collaborate, unite and orchestrate TEDxWandsworth 2016 event and future projects.
The event is a not-for-profit and is funded entirely through ticket sales and sponsorship.
