About this Event

Do you have a teenager that loves learning about the ocean? If so, they will love this unique Tide Walk led by William Thomson.

Through the course of this 1.5 hour walk through St. Margaret’s Bay participants will learn all about the oceans tides work, as well as how they are affected by astrology and meteorology.

William will explain about waves and currents, and how every beach in the world has different ones depending on their topography.

Participants will be able to ask William any questions they may have, and by the end of the walk they will be true tidal experts!

This is the perfect activity for any teenager who is fascinated by the ocean.

Please note due to funding requirements this event is only open to 13 – 18 year olds.

You will be able to leave your children unattended at this event, upon booking we will send you an In Loco Parentis form to complete, allowing us to take responsibility for your child during the walk.
