FAQs
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the session?
We encourage sustainable and healthier travel wherever possible. If you have to drive, a car park is available.
What should I bring to the session?
Your bike, a helmet (optional) and a drink. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, sessions will continue in all but very extreme weather. Slip on footwear is not recommended.
What will I be doing in the training session?
We want to be able to cater for all levels, from beginner to those who want to be able to tackle roundabouts. Generally we will try to tailor the session to meet whatever it is that you would like to be more confident at.
Usually we will start with basic braking, balance and control, and how to use gears, and then progress to using roads.
On road training will start gently developing positioning and turning at junctions, and will progress to busier roads, traffic lights and roundabouts for those that want to.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
