Tell MAMA Hate Crime Workshop: Anti-Muslim Hatred in Today's Society

Tell MAMA (Measuring Anti-Muslim Attacks) has supported thousands of victims of anti-Muslim hatred and prejudice since 2012 and provides casework, advice and emotional support to people across the UK. As well as providing direct support to victims Tell MAMA also maps, measures and monitors anti-Muslim incidents nationally.
On 16th October Tell MAMA is holding a Community Hate Crime Workshop entitled Anti-Muslim Hatred in Today's Society. Different topics will be discussed at each session and the engaging workshop will allow participants to share their knowledge and gain a better understanding of anti-Muslim hate and its effects on victims, families, communities and wider society.
The discussion topics for the Workshops are:

B. Islam in Britain
C. Islamophobia and citizens' rights
D. Neighbours' role in society
E. Role of the media
F. Women in the UK
G. Places of worship
We welcome you to join this FREE event on 16th October starting at 5pm and finishing at 8pm, which will then be followed by hot food being served.
