Interfaith Football Tournament

If football is your thing, why not come and cheer from the sidelines for our five-a-side interfaith football tournament? With a visit from the Bishop of Newcastle, Christine Hardman & featuring teams from both Christian and Muslim faiths, if you’re football mad - it’s not to be missed!

Breaking the Glass Ceiling

Join us on Friday morning for ‘Breaking the Glass Ceiling’, an event held at the World of Glass, St Helens. Bishop Chris has been a pioneer in many areas - the first Bishop to have studied part-time for ordination, one of the first women to be ordained in the Church of England, one of the first female Bishops - come and listen to the challenges and joys of breaking through the glass ceiling. A light breakfast is provided.

Curry Night & Grill A Bishop

On Friday evening, we’ll be meeting for a delicious curry night. There’ll be opportunity to ‘Grill a Bishop’ and spend time building relationship together. Why not invite a friend for some great food and fun, and bring your own drinks too!

Victoria Park Run - Bishops Team!

On Saturday morning there is an opportunity to join the Bishop’s team for the St Helen's Park Run at Victoria Park - a 5km route for walkers and runners of all abilities. It is free to enter but please register in advance on the website below to get a time.

Join us as explore how spiritual practices can contribute to our well-being through life's ups and downs. As well as spiritual practice tasters, our special guests Jenny Baker (Author of Run for Your Life) and Bishop Christine Hardman will bring inspiring words and refreshments are also available.

Bishop's Mission Celebration Service 2019

On Sunday Morning, 9.15am, Archbishop Sentamu will be encouraging & blessing the runners just before the start of the St Helens 10K race at the Saints Stadium and following this we are inviting the churches of St Helens to come together for a joint service with special guests Bishop of Newcastle, Christine Hardman and Archbishop of York, John Sentamu. Invite a friend to this special service of celebration and the culmination of a fantastic weekend of events!
