Welcome to an afternoon of short talks about women’s lives locally and globally, from York’s Centre for Women’s Studies.
Hear about Algerian girl YouTubers, Chinese older women street dancing, beauty ideals in Malaysia, Thailand & UK, #MeToo in the US, gender-based violence, masculinities, work issues for Chinese & Nigerian women, menstruation in Kenya & UK; and end by sharing what feminism means to us locally and around the world.
