Telling My Story: From Darkness to Light is an exhibition of artwork by clients of Yellow Door – a Southampton based charity providing essential support to those affected by domestic and sexual abuse.
Featuring paintings, drawings, sculptures, poetry, and written word, this empowering collection illustrates a client’s journey of bravery, resilience, and transformation.
Each piece has been created whilst receiving support from Yellow Door and reflects the incredible strength of each individual—an uplifting step toward reclaiming identity, voice, and power.
This exhibition forms part of Yellow Doors 40th Anniversary and brings trauma survivors’ experiences to life through their own creative expression—inviting the public into a space of hope, empathy, and connection. Witness the light emerging from darkness and be inspired to join the journey towards open dialogue, empathy, and change.
Light refreshments will be served.
