Story Title: Impossible is Only an Opinion

Have you been in the situation when someone is not convinced you can do something or achieve it? Have you ever heard how you can’t do something or your dreams are impossible? Everyone is very different and has different dreams, as well as abilities and talents. Prior a 3D object appears real it must have been created in someone else’s mind, therefore if you can think of it - you can create it. Perhaps, not tomorrow - but you can do it eventually and gradually.

Being 13 I created my first ever “vision board”, just after one of the darkest moments in my life... I was believing I can climb mountains and travel around the world whilst helping people and performing on the stage. I couldn’t word it out very precisely back then, I could only think of being a teacher and psychologist, being a child I didn’t know any other fancy words back then. But years later my life lead me to life coaching and business mentoring career. A combination of both fulfils my dream to help others and lead me to speaking opportunities - so now I am truly living my dream life! I inspire, empower, motivate and help!

My story supports my business 100%, especially business mentoring. I started business from scratch and now I run it for nearly a decade!

The Question I have for the Telling Stories Group

What were your dreams? What desires and dreams would be relevant to the audience? What examples should I bring? Not everyone wants to be a speaker and a life coach, so I am working on the most common people dreams...

Are you a coach, consultant or freelance, who wants to promote their business and take their practice to a new place?

Do you love stories and long to find your own story that gives voice to your business?

Great stories are true because they have integrity, they make a promise (that must be met), they are subtle and yet make a rapid first impression, they appeal to our senses and match a particular worldview.

So, finding a story that will promote your business is not easy. But it can be easier if you share your search with a dynamic group of business-owners.

This self-help group will listen to and provide feedback for business stories and help each other market their business through stories.

Join us at the The Rude Shipyard on 2nd and 4th Thursdays to find out:

  • How to tell your story in a fresh and compelling way
  • How to use your story to market your business and become better known
  • How to adapt your story in new and innovative ways.

We do more than tell stories. We share ideas about how to tell stories so they are really effective. Each month, one member of the group shares their story and together we listen, take note and work out how the story can be improved. Everyone learns from this experience and improves their story telling. We cover a range of business applications and media for telling your stories.

A fee of £5 on the door covers my overheads including the story-teller's lunch. Please be prepared to purchase lunch at The Rude Shipyard. Please inform me in advance if you require disabled access.
