The Centre for Qualitative Research (CQR) at the University of Bath will hold a virtual book launch on Wednesday 27th January at 3pm. We would be delighted for you to join us to celebrate the Centre’s first (and forthcoming) book titled Temporality in Qualitative Inquiry: Theories, Methods and Practices (Routledge, 2021).

This edited book provides conceptual and practical insights into temporal aspects of qualitative inquiry. A significant portion of qualitative research, if not its raison d'être, is to better understand human experience and the human condition. However, the explicit and/ or collective challenges of time and temporal considerations in qualitative research, as yet remain relatively undocumented. Suitable for graduate students and researchers interested in qualitative inquiry, and in disciplines such as education, health, management, psychology, sociology and communication studies.

Prior to the book launch on the 27th, the Centre for Qualitative Research will host its annual workshop series. The workshops focus on a range of issues related to qualitative research and will be delivered online by University of Bath researchers and teachers with expertise in session areas. These workshops usually precede the Qualitative Research Symposium (QRS); this year, due to COVID-19, the workshops will replace the Symposium. You can sign up to the workshops here.
