In this talk Nobel laureate Frank Wilczek will present a simple yet profound exploration of reality based on the deep revelations of modern science, discussing how we come to see our reality in a new way - bigger, fuller, and stranger than it looked before.
Synthesizing basic questions, facts, and dazzling speculations, Frank will discuss the ideas that form our understanding of the universe: time, space, matter, energy, complexity, and complementarity.

About the speaker:
Frank Wilczek is a theoretical physicist, author, and intellectual adventurer. He has received many prizes for his work, including a Nobel Prize in Physics in 2004. He has made seminal contributions to fundamental particle physics, cosmology and the physics of materials. His current theoretical research includes work on Axions, Anyons, and Time Crystals. These are concepts in physics which he named and pioneered. Each has become a major focus of world-wide research.

Booking information:
This online event will start at 18.00 BST/13:00EST on Thursday 28 January 2021 and will last for approximately one hour. Access to a recording of the event will be exclusively available to ticket purchasers for the 12 months following the live event. The on-demand recording will be available to view within 24 hours of the live discussion.

You will receive a separate email with a link to access the event auditorium prior to the event; please note that each link is unique and should not be shared.
