Description

Athletes can improve their performance and experience fewer injuries through a basic understanding of their musculoskeletal system.

This workshop is aimed to improve the knowledge, understanding and importance of body mechanics and flexibility required for tennis players. During this workshop we will delve into body awarness and anatomy, alongside creatingmovement for our bodies to release tightness and tension.

The workshop will be delivered in a fun and relaxed way, in the studio, with lots of discussions around how you as a tennis player, can benifit from the afternoon.

Subjects covered on this inital taster afternoon, will be as follows:

  • Bio Mechanics of tennis
  • Weight transference
  • Centre of gravity
  • Body awareness
  • Alignment

Please wear comfortable sports/gym wear, bring water and a yoga mat if you have one.
