During this workshop, I will guide you through the process of creating your very own bespoke terrazzo jesmonite homeware piece. We will be using Jesmonite AC100 which is an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional resin based products, and provides a lightweight alternative to concrete. Jesmonite it a water & acrylic based, solvent free product - making it safe for many uses.
I’ll be showing you how to mix the material and cast into silicone moulds - but each piece will be individual to you as you can experiment with lots of colours and designs. Whilst the pieces are left to dry in the moulds, there will be a small break with refreshments available - and a chance to ask questions and learn a little more about the material. We will go through the whole process in this workshop - from choosing colours and casting the products, through to sanding and sealing them ready to take home with you on the day!
All materials provided. There will be a choice of moulds on the day - mini planters, coasters, soap dishes, oval trinket trays and more.
