About this event
Join a steam train ride out to our haunted graveyard after dark, where you will witness what is stirring in the night... During your train journey watch out for strange characters and listen to dark tales of the past. Don your darkest Halloween outfits to fit in with your mysterious fellow passengers.
And if you make it back to Downpatrick station you can enjoy a drink and music in our Carriage Gallery, while soaking up the atmosphere of our museum after-dark.

What time should I be there?
Please arrive for 8pm. Your train departs promptly at 8.15pm.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yep! You've got to be at least 18. If you've got youthful good looks and look under 25, please bring your ID.
What should I wear?
Fancy dress is strongly encouraged. Go dark and embrace Halloween, or try a vintage vibe and step back in time.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes please, it will help you to avoid queues.
What's the best way to get to the event?
Our main station is in the centre of Downpatrick, within ample free car parking, and an easy walk from the Ulsterbus station. We have more transport info on our website.
What about drinks?
Our Carriage bar will be open on the night, seriving drinks and non-alcoholic options. Cash only.
Is the event accessible?
At least one carriage on every train has a set of large double doors and the ability to deploy a ramp. A wheelchair area is provided adjacent to these doors, with seating alongside it.
