About this Event
Forming in 1988, Terrorvision found fame in the 1990's with a string of singles including "Oblivion", "Middleman", "Pretend Best Friend", "Alice What's The Matter?", "Perseverance", "Celebrity Hit List" and "Josephine", though it is probably the 1999 smash hit "Tequila" for which the Bradford pop-rockers are best known...
Following the release of greatest hits collection "Whales and Dolphins", the band decided to call it a day in 2001. They've got together for various shows since, most notably in 2011 when they went on tour in support of their first new studio album in a decade, "Super Delux".
Terrorvision returned again in 2016 for a five date arena tour supporting Thunder and in 2018 for the "Britrock Must Be Destroyed" tour alongside Reef and The Wildhearts.
Still fronted by Tony Wright, alongside original members Mark Yates and Leigh Marklew, Terrorvision will open Cottingham Folk Festival 2021 on Thursday August 26th, with special guest Will Varley in support.
