A course for those who think they might want to become teachers, whether students about to graduate, high-flyers looking to move to a career where they can make a difference, TAs and LSAs who want to move into teaching or stay at home parents who think teaching might be the solution to work-life balance.
If you say you want to teach, the comments you get are wonderfully contradictory, from suggesting it is a nine to three thirty walk in the park with long holidays, to pointing out that there is no end to the workload.
Jane Borgeaud has worked with over 200 schools across the Key Stages, and this course will provide a frank and honest appraisal of what teaching really entails and whether it is for you. The course will also enable you to identify the age range you are best suited to and evaluate the differences between the different routes into teaching to enable you to identify the right one for you.
This half day seminar is presented by Jane Borgeaud in London on Saturday 23rd February, 2013
£80 including VAT and registration fee
Registration at 2pm - seminar ends at 5pm
