Applying for your first HOD role?
This course takes an objective look at the differences between the role of HOD and the role of a 2iC and mainstream teacher and supports you to identify how you can prime yourself for selection for a role as a successful head of department by developing evidence of the necessary experience and skill set now.
During the course of the afternoon you will gain practical experience of the process of applying for a HOD role, including writing a successful application and likely interview tasks. You will receive practical feedback on your performance on application forms and interview skills from the course leader and your peers.
This half day seminar available in London on Saturday 27th April, 2013, is presented by Jane Borgead
