This half day TES Workshop will help you to secure an understanding of the expectations of Ofsted and de-mystify the ‘Ofsted speak’, give you the tools you need to develop a practical systematic approaches to robust school improvement planning and to develop a clear leadership structure with shared accountabilities and transparent systems for communicating and monitoring improvement priorities.
A seminar that gives a clear overview of the current Ofsted expectations and the implications for schools. The session will look at how to create effective, focused and manageable improvement plans which secure accountability and achieve measureable impact in a short space of time.

Graham Gibson has 15 years of experience working in challenging inner-London schools holding a range of leadership positions at school and Local Authority level including Primary Strategy Consultant, SENCo and Headteacher. Previously a Head of a challenging school with 74% of pupils eligible for the Pupil Premium. He currently works with a number of schools with a Requires Improvement judgment, supporting the leadership teams to develop a well structured leadership model and systems that secure rapid school improvement. His key strengths are in teaching and learning developing effective partnership working to secure significant improvements in pupils’ achievements.
