Can my child/young person attend?

Yes - we are aware that some families will need to bring children/young people along and we will adjust conversation as required.  All are welcome :-)

Do I need to book on?

Ideally we would like you to book on so we do not exceed the room capacity - if you have not made a booking email step@advocatingtogether.com so we are able to confirm we have space - if we are unable to respond please drop in anyway.

What if I cannot make the 10am start?

We run a flexible session - call in for part of the session, or all - if the door is closed please knock and one of the team will let you in.

Are there refreshments?

Yes, we provide tea, coffee, juice and biscuits - please feel free to bring additional refreshments with you if needed.

I find it difficult to attend something like this for the first time.

Please email if we can make the session more accessible for you.  One of the team can meet with you beforehand or outside the room so you do not need to walk in alone.  The team will be monitoring the entrance and will greet each new arrival to make themselves known to you.

Are there toilets/baby changing facilities available?

Yes, there is a large accessible toilet within the community room space with baby changing available.
