We're very excited to announce that the 7th edition of The QE Roundabout will be hosted in November by Capco in their offices in Shoreditch. Capco have a really great space and we're delighted they're hosting us!

To begin the evening, we will hear a joint talk from Jonathan Fenwick, Head of Engineering, and Jaspal Puri, Technology Consultant, at Capco. Jonathan and Jaspal will be giving a talk on 'Test Automation Practices'.

Jonathan has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and architecture and for the last 5 years he has been leading large Engineering and DevOps focused transformation initiatives, focused on driving productivity, quality and velocity improvements to achieve better business outcomes.

Jaspal joined Capco after completing a PhD in multi-disciplinary science focussed in biomedical engineering. Whilst at Capco he has been involved in several projects as a test automation engineer for in-house developed banking applications, and has helped to define best practises for test automation within Capco’s Engineering capability.

Next, we will hear from Elizabeth Fiennes, Test Lead at Scott Logic. Elizabeth will be giving a talk 'What's quality got to do with IT?', asking the questions 'what the esoteric characterics of quality are??'; 'how do you inject quality into lean agile ways of working?' and 'how do you know when you are doing enough and who is responsible for it?'.
