TFA Cymru Winter Open Discussion and Seminar

Sustainable Farming and our Land: What Are the Implications for The Tenanted Sector Of Agriculture in Wales

The Tenant Farmers Association Cymru is hosting an open seminar and discussion starting at 7:30 pm on the 06 November 2019, at the Metropole Hotel, Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, LD1 5DY.

TFA Chief Executive, George Dunn, will provide an update on the implications for tenant farmers arising from the Welsh Government’s new “Sustainable Farming and our Land” consultation document and how new policies need to ensure they are accessible for tenant farmers. In addition, George will present the TFA top tips for promoting sustainability of tenanted farm businesses beyond Brexit.

We are also pleased to have Ryan Davies from the Welsh Government attending the meeting to explain progress with discussions on agricultural tenancy reform in Wales.

This is a FREE event open to any farmer in Wales who farms land they do not own regardless if they are a TFA Cymru member. Both members and non-members of TFA Cymru are welcome to attend the meeting. A light supper will be served from 7 pm. For us to adjust catering numbers we would be grateful for RSVPs by 1 November 2019.

Should you need more information, please contact Julia Meadows at the TFA’s Head Office via email events@tfa.org.uk, or by calling 0118 930 6130.
