Introducing the Tower Hamlets African and Caribbean Mental Health Organisation (THACMO)

The central aim of the Tower Hamlets African and Caribbean Mental Health Organisation (THACMHO) was to promote the well-being of African and Caribbean users of mental health services nurturing a strong, vibrant and caring community. Join THACMO organisers Harry Cumberbatch, Raymond Smith, Fabian Tompsett and Sidney Millin to discuss THACHMO history and achievements, illustrated by materials from their collection, soon to be deposited at Tower Hamlets Local History Library & Archives. Their work continues today as part of the Phillip Morgan Legacy Group.
