Learning outcomes:

This is an excellent opportunity to find out how coaching is being used by one of the world’s leading healthcare companies GSK in their innovative global leadership development programme ‘Accelerating Difference’.

Accelerating Difference reinforces GSK’s commitment to the development and career advancement of their female leaders to ensure they create a diverse pipeline of talent that better reflects society, customers, patients and the communities in which they operate.

The programme is both unique and innovative because it takes a systemic approach to gender diversity by focussing on the female leaders, their line managers, their sponsors and the organisational environment which contains the assumptions, norms and beliefs that help or hinder women’s progression into senior leadership roles.

In the session GSK, Executive Coach and Thought Partner Evi Kovacs will share her experience and insights of what worked and what didn’t including how to gain buy-in from senior leaders.
• You will earn how the three interdependent elements of coaching (both individual and group), sponsorship and dialogues have been used at an organisational level to accelerate change and development in an innovative and thought-provoking way.
• You will hear how the programme was designed and the business rationale as well as the findings and implications for practitioners, and sponsors of coaching in organisations.

In 2016 GSK Coaching received the International Coach Federation (ICF) International Prism Award for Global Excellence.
