Join us for our monthly meeting where you can meet like-minded business women. Each month we have a business development topic delivered by a guest speaker.
This months topic is:
Is it me? How knowing your Colour personality type can create positive experiences for you with others and help you grow your business.
Have you had a conversation with someone and their reaction has not been what you expected or felt like you were not speaking the same language? Or has what started out calmly as a chat turned into a heated discussion? Do you wonder why what delights one client another barely notices or is irritated by?
We will be sharing with you insights into personality types that helps you understand how and why you react as you do and why you click with certain people and not others. It also helps you identify how to sell to different people more effectively and if putting teams together who is likely to be best at which role? Find out if you are primarily an action oriented red or an analytical blue? Or may be something else entirely?
This month our speaker is Sylvie Lowe who runs training course within the NHS on conflict resolution and she will share her knowledge and experience of colour personality types with her usual humour.
Conflict Resolution Training is for people who work with the public, either face to face or on the telephone. The aim of the course is to recognise different aspects of conflict that delegates may encounter and to help them understand and be aware of different methods of resolving such conflicts. The course looks at what conflict means to people, the importance of effective communication and how it may break down, different communications models, cultural awareness, patterns of behaviour and Transactional Analysis. These are important tools to help the staff deal with difficult situations and avoid conflict escalating.
