Welcome to the Thanet Card Show! Join us at Quex Barn for a fun-filled day of trading, buying, and selling your favourite Pokémon cards and other trading card games.
Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out, this event is perfect for all card enthusiasts. Browse through a wide selection of cards, meet fellow collectors, and maybe even find that rare card you've been searching for.
We focus heavily on engaging younger people and encourage collecting via trading and buying from our fantastic range of local, trusted card vendors.
There are plenty of freebies for all of our young attendees via quizes and competitions as well as raffles and lucky dips... you might even meet some famous characters along the way!

Frequently asked questions
Limited spaces available! Rent a table for the day for only £25 so you can sell and trade your cards with loads of fellow enthusiasts! A 6ft table with two chairs will be set up and provided for you so the only things you’ll need are you and your cards.
This event will not allow the sale of mystery boxes or replica cards of any kind. All products must be genuine, sealed and licensed to be sold at this event to avoid any potential upset. Any stallholders attempting to sell mystery tins and or replica products will be asked to remove them from sale.
Cold beverages and snacks such as crisps and biscuits are purchasable from the event room at a reduced rate for the event, for lunch and hot drinks you can order them from quex barn main shop - a one minute walk away.
Absolutely, Si will be happy to value Pokémon cards for you if there is time between event management and sales to do so. Many of our vendors also buy Pokémon cards and other TCG cards.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell but Si will be on hand if you want any cards authenticating.
Each Adult ticket purchased entitles the entry of ONE adult and TWO children. An additional £3 per child after that will be charged upon entry due to the capacity of the venue. On The Day tickets are available but priority entry will be given to eventbrite ticket holders.
Trading is absolutely encouraged! Come and see Si and many of our other stallholders to buy, sell and trade cards. This is an event aimed at growing our local card collecting community, meet new enthusiasts and make new friends!
Ticket holders PLEASE FOLLOW THE SIGNS TO THE AUXILIARY CAR PARK. Stallholders please park and unload outside of the small barn - look for the stall holder entrance sign - once unloaded please move your vehicles to the auxiliary car park.
An action packed day with a lucky dip for cards, pokemon merch, a FREE TRADE table where cards can freely be swapped with a box of pre provided cards, A guest appearance by PIKACHU himself for photos, a pokemon quiz to win cards, a chinese auction (raffle style event) to win awesome prizes & more!
We will be using the veranda space attached to the building which has a large overhanging roof to shelter vendors from the rain. Stalls are £20 for 6ft . Please note that Thanet Card Show will not be offering refunds in adverse weather conditions , event attendance left to vendor discretion.
Yes you can, up to the safety limits of the venue but please note that BUYING ONLINE TICKETS IS RECOMMENDED - event and venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry if there is a danger to public safety.
