That Portfolio Saturday Gamesdev Thingy (intermediate) runs on the second Saturday morning each month. Exclusive to ages 14+ years old. This is for Autistic students who are interested in producing a portfolio in digital and concept media for Games Design and Development. The sessions are a good way to socialize as well as learn and are designed for young people with autism and additional needs. The first session will be to make an 'oldie' to refresh or learn some basic skills in Gamemaker Studio 2. The sessions after will be at an intermediate level so some experience and confidence in games development is a must.
Included in the workshops are concept art, coding and working in Gamemaker Studio 2, games testing, animation and much more.
4 persons per session. Students will learn at a good pace we advise that the course usually lasts between 10 and 15 sessions.
Admittance to the event is for young people who have already registered with the studio and have met the organizer in advance of the event. Please email the Studio in the First instance and we will pledge you on the waiting list, this is because the Event may not run if there is lack of interest we cannot give refunds for the eventbrite fee.

If you are interested and purchase a ticket please note: The ticket admits one person aged 14+ to the studio for 1 workshop. The tickets are £26pp per session, to be paid in advance. A registration form will be emailed out once your ticket has been paid for. The registration form has to be completed and sent back via email or post within at least 1 business working day of the start of the first workshop. Please contact the studio directly if you wish to pay by invoice or cash. You do not have to book all your sessions now and we strongly advise that your child tries the first session as Games Development is not for everyone before you book further sessions. However, please note places are limited.
Please note the sessions are on the second floor so there are stairs. We sadly have no disabled access available at the moment.
