Why is there a minimum age?

To enter a casino you need to be 18+ by law. The Hippodrome uses Challenge 25, so bring original ID (passport, driving licence or PASS card) if you look under 25. No ID = no entry – we’d hate for you to miss out!

Where is the meeting place?

We meet in front of the Shakespeare statue, as it's summer the water fountains mean that we will be slightly to the side - but look out for the guide with the Amazing London Tour Meeting Point sign.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of your tour to ensure the whole group can start on time.

What should I do if I am running late?

If you are running late, contact us and we will try to let you know where you can join the tour.  Your confirmation will have the Guide's mobile number.

Will we go inside any buildings?

We will spend the majority of our tour inside the Hippodrome Casino.  Please note that there will be a security / bag check on entry.

What happens if it is raining?

The tour will go ahead rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, although note we will be spending most of our time inside.

Is there a cloakroom?

When we enter there might be an opportunity to check in any bags and coats (free of charge) but availability depends on the venue and may be subject to change.

Do I need to print my ticket?

There is no need to print your ticket.  Your name will be on a list.

Can I cancel or change to another date?

Our tours are non refundable, but if you can no longer attend the date booked, please contact us and we will try and accommodate a change of date.

As we will be in a building that opens 24/7 the tour number is restricted to a small number so that we don't disturb operations.

As the Hippodrome Casino is open 24/7 each tour provides a unique experience, and content may vary according to what spaces are available on the day.   There will be stairs and lifts used inside the venue.
