That's Entertainment! A walk through Leicester Square and the Hippodrome

Welcome to That's Entertainment! Join us for a fun 90 minute walk. Meeting by the Leicester Square sign outside The Londoner hotel at 10:30 AM (Europe/London). We'll stroll from Leicester Square to the world famous Hippodrome, where we have special access to tour inside.

For nearly 400 years, Leicester Square has been a space for the public. On this walking tour, trace its evolution from open fields to an elegant 17th-century residential square, and its shift in the 18th century towards entertainment. We'll explore inside the iconic Hippodrome and hear its extraordinary story - from its 1900 debut as an indoor circus, to a celebrated theatre, the glittering Talk of the Town, Peter Stringfellow’s ‘world’s greatest disco’, and today, Europe’s most popular casino.
