We look forward to bringing That's Sew Bolton to Bolton CVS this autumn.
This is a set of 2 embroidery workshops where we plan to put our town into stitch as part of our Culture Bolton 2025 project.
Each participant will learn basic embroidery techniques to help put an iconic Bolton building into stitch that will be incorporated into a travelling community quilt that will be displayed at various locations around Bolton including at Bolton Library and Bolton CVS.
No previous experience is required but a willingness to give creativity a go.
The dates are:
Monday 13th October 2025 - 2 - 4pm at Bolton CVS
Friday 17th October 2025- 1-3pm at Bolton CVS
*Please note there will be further day time sessions later in the year for people to finish their embroidery if it is not finished during the sessions. These will be open to everyone who has participated in the project.

All supplies will be provided. Hot drinks will be provided.
Please do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before the session starts.

This course is funded by Culture Bolton and is for anyone aged 18+, living in Greater Manchester from the VCSE Sector.
Please let us know if you cannot attend a session due to illness with at least 24 hours notice so we can make the most of each place. By signing up you are committing to attending both weeks of the project. If this is a problem please contact us.
