THE 1930s CERAMICS-INSPIRED TEXTILE DESIGN WORKSHOP I
PAINT, DESIGN, REPEAT, PRINT & STITCH ON RECYCLED FABRIC!
Explore stunning floral design work by celebrated 1930s British ceramics designer, Clarice Cliff, with textile design expert Dr Emma Neuberg and discover ways to develop the 1930s British style for contemporary textile design projects.
You'll learn professional silkscreen printing and digital print techniques to develop into stunning textiles that evoke the modernity of the 1930s British look, palette and silhouette.
The creative outcomes of our workshops are beautiul, evocative and easily transferrable to other design projects with the professional guidance of Royal College of Art tutor, Dr Emma Neuberg. In fact, she offers individual tutorials to help you development these further.
Dr Neuberg employs an exclusive tiered teaching method that combines Practical, Symbolic, Sustainable and Immaterial learning for a meaningful experience that you take with you as a rich resource in your own practice.
All materials and a Pdf to help you discover more and develop your skills beyond the day included. This workshop is open to everyone of all levels of experience.
