About this event
A Night That Belongs to Us
For nearly two decades, the PRECIOUS Awards have been more than an event. They’ve been a stage where Black women and women of colour are celebrated for the brilliance, resilience, and innovation they bring to the world.
On Friday 21st November 2025, we return for our 19th annual celebration. This is your invitation to step into this Black-tie event filled with elegance, purpose and community.
Why this night matters
So often, the stories of Black women and women of colour are overlooked. PRECIOUS has always been about rewriting that narrative. The Awards shine a spotlight on those who lead, create, and inspire in business, leadership, STEM, the arts, and beyond.
When you attend, you’re not just at an awards ceremony, you’re joining a community. You’re applauding the change-makers and standing in solidarity with women who are shaping a better future.
This is a night of recognition, but it’s also a night of joy. The kind of joy that comes from knowing you’re part of something bigger.
Delighted to announce our keynote for the evening:
Syreeta Brown
Author of Bigger than the Moon and HR Leader
Syreeta Brown is one of the UK’s most influential HR leaders and author of Bigger than the Moon, a moving account of her journey as a mother and leader.
She recently stepped down as Group Chief People & Communications Officer at Virgin Money UK, following senior roles at Citi and BT, where she was among the few Black women to reach the C-Suite.
Named in the Powerlist Top 10 Most Influential Black Britons and Cranfield’s Women to Watch 2024, Syreeta’s leadership is shaped by her experience as mother to a daughter with autism. She is known for weaving compassion, inclusivity, and purpose into her work, inspiring new ways of leading and connecting.
Beyond her corporate career, Syreeta serves on advisory boards including the Black Talent Charter and ALETO Foundation, and is an ambassador for Ambitious about Autism.
