The 2018 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu British Open:

Juniors & Juveniles

On behalf of Braulio Estima I am delighted to invite you to the 10th instalment of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu British Open for Juniors & Juveniles.

In 2009 Steve Fan, Braulio Estima and I organised the first British Open, we had around 40 juniors on one mat area at a local leisure centre, the event was pretty much done by lunchtime!

Last year our venue was the fabulous Sky Dome Arena in Coventry. We had just under 500 juniors & juveniles on 4 mat areas.

For our 10th instalment The British Open returns to the Sky Dome on the 11th - 13th May, with all of the juniors & juveniles competing on Saturday 12th May.

Weight, Age and Belt Categories:

Where we have sufficient numbers, the categories will be divided by the weight, age and the individual belts categories as detailed below. Where we have insufficient numbers to run a category, a move to a higher weight, age or belt category may be offered as detailed below. If this is not acceptable to you, a full refund will be issued.
