The Great Crediton Fire Walk

Come join us for an exhilarating evening in Crediton Town Square where you can challenge your limits and walk barefoot over hot coals! This event is not for the faint-hearted, but it's a fantastic opportunity to conquer your fears and experience something truly unique whilst raising funds for charity! Frequently asked questions

Do I need to register beforehand?

Yes, we need to know in advance how many walkers to expect. Only walkers who have previously registered will be allowed to participate in the training and the fire walking event.

Who can take part?

Anyone aged 14 or over is welcome to register. 16 year old s and under should be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please note, walkers considered to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs before the event will be politely turned away and will lose their registration fee.

Will training be provided?

Yes, all walkers need to attend a training session beforehand. Scott Bell, world-record fire walker and founder of UKFirewalk provides an entertaining and motivating training session after the fire has been lit and while the coals heat up. Please ensure you arrive in time to attend the training.

How will the money I raise be spent?

Crediton and District Lions CIO support the following global causes through funding or direct action: Diabetes, Environment, Vision, Youth, Hunger, Childhood Cancer, Disaster and Humanitarian Crises. We are proud to state that 100% of the money raised for charity goes to charitable causes.
