2. Dr. Mark Anderson FSEDA SFHEA

Title: Digital and diverse: embedding inclusive pedagogies for sustainable learning futures

Summary: The future of education is becoming increasingly difficult to predict, but there are at least two trends that look set to continue: digital technologies will further infuse our educational experience, practice and discourse; and the diversity of our learning communities will become ever richer and more complex.

As we explore new ways to harness the potential of technology-enhanced learning, and to ensure that we create fully inclusive learning opportunities and environments, it becomes critical to revisit core principles. By keeping evidence-based, person-centred pedagogies at the heart of our learning culture, we can help prepare students to grow, adapt and thrive in learning futures that they create.
