Join us on June 7th for a pitch competition spotlighting food and drinks brands driving innovation in the FMCG community. As a valued audience member, you'll have the opportunity to vote for the winning pitch and help determine who receives funding. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity!
🎉 What is the 40% Club?
The 40% Club isn't just an open mic pitch night; it's a front-row seat to witness the birth of transformative ideas. It's a unique event dedicated to supporting early-stage founders with groundbreaking and innovative ideas that can change the world but need some help to get it off the ground. It's also a space where we showcase the best up-and-coming creative talent the world has to offer.
🎉 How does the 40% Club work?
Experience an evening filled with the magic of music, poetry, and creative performances, all provided by passionate artists who perform for free with the aim of raising funds for the winning founder through their ticket sales. The goal is for performers to invite friends, family and fans who will purchase a ticket for a small fee to see the artist perform. A portion of the funds will go into the setup of the next show, and the other portion will be directed towards the emerging entrepreneur who wins the pitch.
Six visionary Food and Drinks founders will then have the chance to pitch their revolutionary ideas to a supportive audience. Part of the funds raised by the performers will then be distributed to the winning pitch based on the audience's choice. It's a collective effort to empower and uplift the next wave of changemakers.

Recognising that 60% give up at the first obstacle, we've created the 40% Club to be a beacon of inspiration. Our mission is to provide everyone with the opportunity to "face their fears, build their dreams, and Just Do It Anyway." By coming together as a community, we aim to redefine the statistics and support those who are determined to make a positive impact on the world. The event occurs every month at different venues, and it runs from 6 pm to 9:30 pm.

No, performances at The 40% Club will be done exclusively with backing tracks. This allows for a diverse and engaging showcase of talent.
If you're an early-stage founder with a groundbreaking idea, you can apply for the pitch session via this: https://pfp4lt97ncg.typeform.com/to/YY4BuTay. Three selected founders will pitch their ideas to the audience.
The audience plays a crucial role in deciding which early-stage founder will receive a portion of the funds raised by the performers. Please note that the amount raised and offered will differ each month, and The 40% Club reserves the right to revoke any payment at any stage of the process.
The winning founder will receive a funding incentive, four business coaching sessions with an award-winning business leader, an opportunity to pitch to other investors, and an 80% discount on business mentoring.
The 40% Club is a monthly series aiming to inspire, motivate, and impact not just founders and performers but also individuals in the audience with dreams they may be hesitant to pursue.
Tickets for The 40% Club can be purchased through our official website or authorised channels. Please present a valid ticket (digital or printed) for admission.
