The 4th Industrial Revolution - What every business needs to know
Tue 21 March 2017, 08:00 – 10:00 GMT
The 4th Industrial Revolution – How it may impact your business, your products and services
The 1st Industrial Revolution was steam-powered; the 2nd electrical; the 3rd was the birth of the computer age; and in what we now call the 4th Industrial Revolution, we will see several technologies coming together, including robotics, nanotechnology, virtual reality, 3D printing, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced biology.
Business leaders and senior executives are invited to join us for a thought-provoking breakfast where speakers will explore the shift from simple digitisation (the 3rd Industrial Revolution) to innovation based on combinations of technologies (the 4th Industrial Revolution) and how it is prompting companies to re-examine the way they do business.
We are looking to attract SME manufacturers in all sectors along with SME providers of digital solutions to hear how Keele University can offer support and funding to start you on your 4th Industrial Revolution journey.
Date: Tuesday 21st March 2016 8am-10am
