About this event

Enjoy a relaxed, informal workshop with wildlife photographer Roger Stewart at one of Scotland's most acclaimed wildlife conservation centres in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, a few miles from Stirling.

After a short presentation, demonstration and discussion we will practice photographing around the raised pond and including small birds and insects. If you wish to, please bring examples of your wildlife images to share and discuss.

This small group event is ideal for budding wildlife photographers, however inexperienced, to benefit from Roger's advice on how to take more engaging wildlife images. Cameras of all sorts are welcome including camera phones.

After the workshop, participants are encouraged to attend the Red Kite feeding session, which offers a further great photography opportunity. Booking can be done separately directly with Argaty using this link - Red Kite Feeding Booking. PLEASE NOTE Places for the Red Kite hide must be reserved in advance to guarantee you a place.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our Host Venue

We are delighted to be hosted again this year by Argaty Red Kites, a long term partner with Stirling Photography Festival. A working farm and renowned wildlife conservation centre much loved by photographers, you can read more about Argaty here.

The farm is accessed down a single track road. Please allow plenty of time for your journey.
