About the course

This workshop is designed to train the participant to appreciate their findings of the abdominal cavity, including the assessment of its fascial ligamentous connections and visceral contents. Participants will be encouraged to explore ways of improving their body positioning to enhance their proprioception during examination and treatment. A similar approach will be used when applying visceral/fascial techniques to optimise the location and mobilisation of the following: the diaphragm, distal oesophagus, cardiac sphincter, stomach, duodenum and liver. Indications and contra-indications will be discussed throughout the weekend.
